Sports and Motors in Milan.

Do not miss out on this vital part of Milanese culture.

Would you like to see the AC Milan or the Inter training grounds?

Or do you prefer to visit the Formula 1 racetrack?

Milan loves sports: the wide variety of sports facilities you find and the number of important international events it hosts is a striking evidence of this.
Every year the final stage of the Giro d’Italia comes to Milan to crown the winner with the legendary pink jersey which by the way reminds everyone of another of Milan’s sports emblems the pink-coloured Gazzetta dello Sport, Italy’s sports daily and European bestseller.
In September Milan hosts the Formula One Italian Grand Prix which takes place in Monza, the capital of the Brianza, where you find the famous racetrack dating back to 1922. Book your private guided tour now

Winter sports are part of the tradition, culture and identity of Northern Italy. The region has world-class winter sports venues, ranging from the ice arenas of Milano to the well-established and iconic World Cup and World Championship destinations of Bormio, Cortina, Antholz and Val di Fiemme.
Ice Hockey is the Hockey Milano Bears Rossoblu and play at the Ice Stadium Agorà.
Milano and Cortina will host the Olympic Winter Games 2026.

The San Siro Football Stadium is famous all over the world as the stage for sports challenges and house ground for both AC Milan and Inter, two of the most titled teams in international football. Contact Barbara Quarello now

Always in the San Siro District there is the Horse Racing track which is an immense green area within the heart of the city, and it includes an important botanical park which is rich in centuries-old trees. The Gallop Hippodrome dates back to the 20s and as the facility is an example of Art Nouveau architecture it was declared “monument of national interest”. Each year it hosts two of the most important Italian Group 1 races: in June, the “Gran Premio di Milano”, and the “Gran Premio del Jockey Club”, in September. Next to it the Trot Hippodrome.
Basketball in Milan is called Olimpia one of the most glorious Italian basketball teams founded in 1936 and since 2008 sponsored by Armani Jeans.

Tennis at the Tennis Club Milano, Rugby Milano, Baseball, Volleyball, Fencing, Golf …, the list is never ending. Milan’s love of sports benefits from a thriving social and economic system and optimal facilities for leadership rank in Europe.
