My name is Barbara, and I was born and raised in Milano such as my family who is Milanese since generations. My grandparents would talk Milanese such as the famed local writer Alessandro Manzoni, don Lisander in Milanese.

I have been working as a registered tourist guide since 2002 and I enjoy planning private guided tours in Milan and the surroundings for a sophisticated and demanding clientele.

I conceive and design private bespoken tours in Milan for small groups about art, architecture, archaeology, cinema, design, fashion, finance, food, literature, music, religion, sport, or experiences regarding perfumes, handicrafts, artist’s studios, fashion workshops, …

I am an art historian who took her degree at the Catholic University of Milan.

I do adore my profession because it gives me the chance of combing my passion for Milano, my strong interest in art and architecture and my love for foreign languages (English, German, Spanish) which I studied in U.K., U.S.A., Spain and Germany.

I work as a personal shopper as well.

I’d like to remind you that all the private guided tours I have published are a little part of what Milan actually offers and I will be glad to design a private tour according to your interests, your needs and the time you decide to spend in Milano.

Each of my private guided tour is addressed both to adults and children for the latter I have dedicated a category on my website entitled “I love children”.

Each tour can be as long as you wish and can include the temporary art exhibitions and the events connected to the design and fashion weeks.

Moreover, I have a good knowledge of the surroundings of my city and if you start your tour in Milan, I could be your private guide in charming places like Como, Bellagio, Lugano, Monza, Bergamo, Pavia, Vigevano, Turin, Venice, Verona, Genoa, in the winemaking hills of Franciacorta and Oltrepo’ Pavese, or across the Alps by the Bernina Express….
