The Milan House Museums.

A stroll from house to house to get you know the city in a new way.  Book now

House Museums are houses transformed into museums by will of their owners. They have in common the generosity of their founders, who opened their homes and art collections to the public.
Visitors learn about their way of living and plumb every moment of their lives, because are invited to see where they used to eat, to sleep, to play, to work, who their guests were. You explore living rooms, bathrooms, bedrooms, wardrobes, books, gardens, tennis courts, swimming pools, kitchens, you enter the butler’s pantries and where their staff lived but at the same time you will learn who was the only member of the staff to share the same floor with the masters of the house.   Contact Barbara Quarello now

You can almost picture the landlords standing at the elegant front door to welcome their many illustrious friends.

Milan offers outstanding examples of the kind both built by the bourgeoisie and by noble dynasties. Personal stories of prominent families who lived between the nineteenth and the twentieth century will give you the opportunity to experience the artistic trends and social changes of the era in which they lived.
